Oshkosh 2014 Registration & 2009 program

Oshkosh 2014 - Forever Faithful
Registration begins November 26th.  If you are planning on attending, please call Karen Toombs and sahe will add you to the list of tickets.

The evening program of Ester will be playing from Nov 22 - 26 at 7PM EST on the Hope Channel.
It will also play on Direct TV November 26 from 3-8pm.
(hopefully we will get another shot at this soon.)

Seniors Tea - Nov 26th

Pathfinders:  Please bring caselot items OR cash in an envelope so we can purchase any items needed for our Christmas Hampers.

We also have a limited supply of Apple Pies for sale.  $8.00 each.  Please call Karen to reserve yours today.

Pathfinders CANCELLED

Nov 9th Club meeting has been cancelled due to H1N1 concerns.  We will see where it ends up with next week.

Nov 8 Pies

Pie Making at the church is CANCELLED.  Too many sick people.  There are some who will be making applesause for the sale so no apples will be waisted.

Remeberance Day Ceremonies.  We will call around to see how many can make the marching.

November a busy month

There is a lot happening this month.  The evangelistic series has been postponed, but we are making up for it in a number of other ways.  The newsletters will be available online later this week.

Geocaching Friends

If you have signed up for a geocaching ID, it might be a good idea to change you profile to add friend requests.


To do that sign into your account, go to "MyAccount Detail".  Near the bottom there is a section called "My Account Preferences".  In that area, find "Friend Requests" and change that to allow.  Then we can befriend all others in the club.

Bottle Drive Canceled

Bottle drive canceled due to snow/rain.  We'll make this one up later...

Oct 31 Fun night!

We will be having a fun & games night at the school.  There will be some snacks provided, but bring a snack for you and a friend and there will be lots to go arround.

We will set the Wii consoles up in the higher class and will have some contests.

Come and enjoy a happy non-halloween evening with your friends.

No Costumes please!

Tie Dye Shirt Update

Please try and get 100% cotton T-Shirts for dyeing.  Any polyester and the dye will not hold in the cloth.

For Oct 26th, please wear grubbies NO FIELD UNIFORM!!!!
Also, if you have long rubber gloves, like the ones used for washing dishes, please bring a pair.

Fund Raisers

Orange and Grapefruit sales are going fast!!!  3/4 are already sold.  Only about 25 boxes remain.  Call Karen with names of who wants what before we are sold out!

Chocolate Almond sales going strong, only a few boxes left.

Oh and start bringing your craft items for the Harvest Sale to the clubhouse. (forgot this one on last post)

Evangelistic meetings postponed

Due to some issues with presenters, the Evangelistic Meetings that the kids were working on has been postponed.  At this time it looks like it will run in February.
We'll keep you posted.

Meals (enough food for):
Friday night (ie. hotdogs, soup)

Your discovery bottle and list are due in class on Oct 5th.

Oct 4th Update

The Inside work bee at the Clubhouse has been cancelled.
In its stead, we will finish up the field at Willowbirch when we get back from camping.

Aberdeen Cleanup dates set

We have Cancelled April 5 so will go from April 4 directly to April 6.
Just kidding.
Weather is not yet on our side, so we are postponing the golf course cleanup. We will post as soon as we can.

Garage Sale donations

Please bring any donations of furnature, small household goods, clothing, toys, electronics, etc for the pathfinder garage sale to the school on Monday night.
If you can't make it, please call Karen to arrange a drop off at T&S Communicatins.

2010 Scarf Ministry

For those working on your knitting honor, here are the scarf paterns as well as some information about what the Scarf Ministry is all about.

Cans and egg shell need to be washed clean.

9 patch quilts

Please turn in your 9 patch to Mrs. Toomb ASAP so we can have them joined and stiched to have it ready for Camporee.

International Dinner - Pasta Fiest Moved

Our International Dinner has been moved due to some overlap in bookings.

Date: April 19th
Time: 6:00 pm
Place: Fellowship room at the SDA Church
Cost: $7 per person.

Menu: 3 choices of pasta, 3 sauces, salad, and garlic bread. Desert is a supprise!
